Part 1

The thought may have crossed your mind...Why am I reading this book? Well, that being said hang on, girls. God is going to reveal to you His purpose in bringing this book to my attention. Part 1 is basically laying down that foundation to build upon. Reading testimony and looking at illustrations in the Bible and even taking a peek of examples of those in the public eye at large. As I said earlier, keep reading...read with an expectation and purpose to grow. This reading is not like curling up with a novel, nah - it's more self-examination and soul searching. Doesn't sound like fun? Just wait, there will be a moment when the light goes on and you can't put the book down. It's true.

It has almost been a week since our meeting together. I do hope that each of you have been able to go in and do the questionnaire on page 240 and identify your darkside. Truly, I hate that they call it that...whatever - Personally, by labeling my traits I have made many a discovery as I function in ministry and home day to day.

None of this will make sense until you find your darkside. It's almost like a darth vader saga! I don't know, is that good or bad. It will be up to us and what we decide to do with what the Lord reveals to us as we seek Him in this book.

Now that I have read it, I believe it is revoluntionary for the fact that I am able to recognize certain behaviors and how I can better use them to become a more effective leader. We can go into more detail as the days unfold.

I would like to encourage you all to join us on the blog regularly. This may prove to be a very fun and exciting journey as we see God do divine surgery. He is, I repeat, He is preparing us. And His ideas for how I should be living are always greater than my own.

God Bless you, girls!

A very good morning, Sisters...there is a great anticipation welling up inside of me knowing that God is going to use this time together for His Gory! As I pray for each one of you and continue seeking His will on the ministry's behalf my heart becomes more and more excited about the transforming work that He will do in each one of us personally and how that will overflow into the lives of the beautiful ladies that He has entrusted to each of us to minister to. Our church is growing rapidly and with more people there will be more needs. Flow Spirit flow...

Springboarding into a new adventure...

Hello Ladies, There is excitement growing in my heart as our time together draws near. We live in a day and age where our time is so precious which, in turn, makes it doubly important to gather together for support and fellowship.
As we launch into this year's book seeking that personal and spiritual growth that the Lord desires to do in each of us, we can share our journey together without having to attend yet another meeting. You like the sound of it already, don't you?
Choosing to enter into the disciplines of growth, first as daughter's of the King and secondly leaders over His sheep, we must begin with us. A leader must first examine herself and ask those hard questions and then determine to do the right thing. Shaping our character's through the power of the Holy Spirit will in turn create an atmosphere for others to see that we have completely yielded to the inner work of sanctification and are now experiencing the joy of the power within and upon in our service to the Lord.
Many blessings to each of you, Sisters. May this new techo adventure prove to hold its weight in value! Keep shining for Jesus Girls -
